Vicenza Night Run – Group Running Sessions / Trainings

Have you ever noticed a large group of people running through the streets of downtown Vicenza? Are you wondering who they are, how they are organized and if it possible to join them? This guide has all the answers you are looking for.

There are currently two main runner groups in Vicenza: AV Running School and Corri per Vicenza, affiliated with the San Bortolo Foundation.

Corri X Vicenza e per la Fondazione San Bortolo

Atletica Vicentina, along with the local health and social care services and many volunteers support the night running sessions of #CORRIXVICENZA, non-competitive run-walk training programs, led by pacers who volunteer their time to lead the various running groups.

Currently training sessions are on Tuesday evenings. Participants meet at Bar Eclisse in Viale Framarin at 7:45 p.m., next to the large bank buildings not far from the Vicenza Teatro Comunale. There are 5 training groups, each one led by a pacer. The meeting point and the group participants may be different each time.

The goal of this sports initiative is to promote fitness together with socialization and raise funds to support the San Bortolo Foundation so all participants are encouraged to donate 1 euro to the San Bortolo Foundation Onlus at every meeting.

You do not need to be a member of a sports club in order to participate to the running sessions. Reservations or medical certificates of physical eligibility are not required.
