The train station is located on the southern part of the town, at the end of Viale Roma. The old town is 5-minute walk from the station.
It forms part of the Milan–Venice railway. It is also a junction of two branch lines, to Schio and Treviso, respectively. To Schio and Treviso trains arrive and depart from/to the “1 Giardino” and “2 Giardino” bay platforms, located at the far eastern end of the station.
The station building in open 24/7. Tickets can be purchased by the regular ticket offices (every day 6:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.) or thru the self service machines (available 24/7).
The Vicenza Train Station doesn’t have left luggage / luggage storage room.
Parking is available at the station but is very expensive: €1,50 per hour or €21 per day (6:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.). Payment 24/7 thru the self service machines with cash or credit cards (not American Express).
