On Sunday 5th March, after the usual winter pause, the park will open for the 2017 season. It has been adjudged the Second Most Beautiful Garden Park in Europe and has won the prize for the Finest Flowering garden in Italy with the Tulip Mania show of over a million brightly coloured tulips.

The reopening will be dedicated to women: on 5th 6th 7th and 8th March all women shall have free entry to the gardens while accompanying men will pay a reduced entry ticket price.

Those who want to discover the history, the special characteristics and the curiosities of the Park can take a guided tour (only on 5th March) buying a ticket at the entrance gates (inscriptions on Sunday morning at the ticket, subject to availability; in case of bad weather, the guided tour will be canceled).

Visitors can enjoy the re-awakening of nature in the spring, with the narcissi along the Avenue of the Fountains and the first hyacinths and tulips.
