February 24th, 2017 is the day of “M’illumino di meno” (I am enlightened less) an Italian radio campaign to raise awareness on energy consumption.
That’s why even in downtown Vicenza they will turn off the lights of the most important monuments like the Basilica Palladiana, Basilica di Monte Berico, Villa Capra “La Rotonda” and Gallerie d’Italia Palazzo Leoni Montanari.
As part of the initiative, there will be a free lyric concert at the Santa Corona church at 7:00PM with the Coro e Orchestra di Vicenza playing and singing a musical repertoire of Franz Schubert.
