From 10:00AM to 10:00PM possibility to visit the food & wine booths of the many participating Italian regions as Marche, Sardinia, Puglia, Sicily, Liguria, Trentino, Friuli, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy and certainly not for the last, Veneto. Food stands open for lunch and dinner too!
It celebrates sixteen years “Le Piazze dei Sapori”, one of the most important national showcases of Italian food and wine. Stage of the 2017 edition will be once again Piazza dei Signori square, from 15 to 17 September, where 25 companies of the gastronomic tradition tricolor, carefully selected, propose the best of their productions, accompanied by events and shows Music.
Le Piazze dei Sapori, sponsored by the municipality of Vicenza, is the event that brings to the historical centers of the cities the typical products and the most sought-after Eno-gastronomic productions of Italy. The most famous squares are colored with hundreds of exhibitors that represent the taste of all the Italian regions. Products Dop, DOCG, Doc, but also peculiarities unknown to the general public who awaken, in this way, forgotten tastes.
The Mozzarella di bufala campana dop, the pesto alla genovese Dop, the skewer Abruzzese and the fried dumpling Emiliano, are just some of the Italian products present at the event. The products of the territory represented by the “Riseria delle Abbadesse” the Abbess of Vicenza with rice are not lacking. The European host of this edition is Poland, which will present its typical cuisine of spicy grilled meats and excellent goulash.
