To celebrate the end of the harvest the Piovene Porto Godi Winery is going to host a dance show with title “Postcards” performed by a Dance company of a Dance School from Padova, the D.D.T – DNA Dance Theatre Company.
It is a show which embraces Jazz, Contemporary, Tip Tap Dance as well as Ballet. Audience is going to be part of this show because has to follow the dancers around the vines and the cellars!
The idea of the show started from a set of thoughts about this Villa and the memories which surround it. We wanted to tell the story of this place through images and dances capable to suggest emotions and sensations to the public even without words. The scene is therefore composed by postcards that can be seen together or by themselves and that tell a common story which belongs to everyone and which is able to talk about each one of us. About love, death, fear, relationships and at the same time about the essence and beauty of this territory and its people.
There are going to be some lines in Italian but the show is really easy to understand and we are going to be there to translate it for you if you need it.
In the event of bad weather for Saturday the 7th we are going to run the same shows with same hours on October 14th.
