National Nursery Festival and market at the Este Castle Gardens, Saturday – Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Entrance to the Castle Gardens: € 2.00 (ticket which entitles you to entry into the three-day duration of the event).
Just on Sunday, the event is also downtown Este: Piazza Maggiore, Piazza Trento, Via Matteotti, Via Cavour.

Este, a village nestled at the foot of the Euganean hills, is about 28 miles south of Vicenza. All that is left of the ancient Carrara Castle are the fortified walls spaced by twelve towers that encircle the town. Built on the ruins of an earlier fortress in 1348 by Ubertino da Carrara, it was constructed on a square base. The Keep, a tower of refuge commanding views of the city, stands high on a hill in the center of the castle grounds.
