Festa del Prosciutto a Montagnana 2019
Food Festival dedicated to the local delicious sweet ham. It is held inside the beautiful medieval city wall perfectly preserved. You can choose between several food corners where each local producer will serve its own ham recipe.
The Montagnana Ham – Prosciutto di Montagnana, a raw ham known also as Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo DOP, has an ancient production tradition and is still today all naturally made “by hand”, with pig leg cuts coming from local farmers and without using any preservatives or additives. Because it taste sweeter then other hams, it is also called the Dolce di Montagnana or the Sweet of Montagnana.
Food booths open on weekdays from 7-12pm and on Saturdays/Sundays from 10am-12pm.
