Cittadella Tourist Office

The staff of Cittadella’s Tourist Office speaks fluent English. You can find us in The Captain’s House within Cittadella’s medieval walls. After entering the town through Bassano Gate, the building is located on the left hand side. The address is Porte Bassanesi n. 2.

The tourist office is a good starting point for tourists who are visiting the town; we will be pleased to give you all the information you need about Cittadella, Padova and the surrounding area as well as information concerning nearby regions of interest.

In our office you can find many souvenirs of the city, and the staff can also help you with hotel reservations and organize guided tours of Cittadella and the surrounding area. You can also book our workshops for children where they can learn ancient medieval handcrafts.

Moreover, it is possible to admire the city from a different point of view by renting a boat at the tourist office, to discover the city from the moat which runs along the medieval walls.

Here you can find the entrance and buy tickets to visit the Parapet Walkway. It’s open every day during the year; in special occasions the path is opened at nighttime enlightened by candles and lights or at sunset with medieval music.
