One week left to the obstacle race in Verona that will bring enthusiasts and athletes from all over Italy to challenge themselves on the Verona bastions: the start of the Verona Force Run, in fact, is Sunday, June 18th at 9:30am from Piazza San Zeno. Verona Force Run, sponsored by the Municipality of Verona, Department of Sports and Leisure, becomes increasingly important in the Italian landscape and is facing a unique challenge in the territory of Verona, with a series of obstacles in the mud, water, steep walls, with artificial hangings and obstacles to overcome for three unique courses. It’s not a simple race, it’s adrenaline, it’s fun, it’s involvement and team spirit.
“Become a stage in the Italian OCR Championship – commented the organizer Nicola Schena – has led us to diversify the proposals and push us further, creating three paths to surprise the aspiring forcer who will come to Verona from all over Italy to qualify for the Ocr European Championships which will be held in the Netherlands between the end of June and the beginning of July». The three courses are different for both km and obstacles:
- the HARD race is the 12km competitive race where the challenge is against opponents and against nature to earn the title of Delta forcer;
- the ROCK race, uncompetitive, changes in mood, as the title says, but not in km, always 12, and not even in obstacles. Marines will be taking part in the challenge that goes against themselves and their limits, all linked by a team spirit and unique collaboration.
- the FAST race is the course for those who are looking for less demanding and more gullible. 5 km of playful engines that keep the original spirit and invite participants to the pure fun of obstacles to overcome and challenges to try and try to be true Rangers. In addition, all participants will be able to participate in dressed up, both in a costume in line with their own army and original and participate in the challenge for the best dress.
The Verona Force Run is the third leg of the Championship that saw the first two races in Pisa and Turin. Now the professionals arrive in Verona to take another step towards the title. Like every champion that respects, to verify the fairness of the race, 25 judges trained by the Federation through a course that was held in Verona on May 13, to which will be added judges from all over Italy.
Entries are open online until Thursday June 15th and at the village on Saturday 17th from 12pm to 6:30pm and Sunday 18th from 7:30am to the start, only for the two non-competitive routes. More information and news on the event website and Facebook page or on website.
