On Sunday, March 19th, 2017 StrAVicenza is back. It is a run/walk for everybody, with 2 different distances around the city center of Vicenza. (Campo Marzo, Salvi’s Garden, and Querini’s Park)
10 km – Competitive race with professional runners from Kenya and some of the best local runners.
10 km / 4,5 km / 2,5 km Non-competitive (the 2,5 k is suitable for runners / families with strollers and / or just walkers).
The competitive race starts at 9:30 a.m, then the non-competitive. You all should come and enjoy it. The Starting/arrival line is at Viale Roma / Campo Marzo (next to the train station).
Please note that Sunday is a no driving day for downtown, so the busses will be free all day long. Or you can leave your vehicle in some specific areas (Park Stadio,Park Cricoli and Park Dogana) and use the shuttle from there.
Tickets: for competitive race 15€ (if you have membership with a running team + Medical certificate). If you are not part of a team, 21€ + medical certificate. The web site with all the rules is: http://corsa.stravicenza.it – just Italian language.
For non-competitive (you can pick the distance you prefer) 3€ for adults and 2€ for kids (age 14 and above).
You can get the tickets: Sunday 19th from 7:15 am to 9:15 am at the Stravicenza Point located on Campo Marzo at the starting point.
There will be a drop off bag service for 1€ a piece.
At the arrival there will be a refreshment tent with hot drinks and some food.
Max time is 2 hours.
