The event is the reenactment of the historic carousel “Rua” parade, that since 1444 and for six centuries, has been the symbol of the city of Vicenza on Corpus Christi (read more here).
- The start of the parade will be at 8:15 p.m. from Piazza Duomo.
- At 8 p.m. all the city bells will ring to announce the celebration.
- The arrival in Piazza dei Signori is scheduled at about 9 p.m.
- At 9:30 p.m. “STARTING OT THE RUA” with sounds and lights shows, followed by the concert of the Coro e Orchestra di Vicenza.
La Rua will remain exposed to the public in Piazza dei Signori, from Saturday 2 to Sunday, September 17, 2017.
