Italy’s Liberation Day or Festa della Liberazione, is a national Italian holiday commemorating the end of the second world war and the end of nazi occupation of the country.
The ceremony in Vicenza starts at 10:00 am with a Holy Mass in memory of the fallen at San Lorenzo church.
Than, from about 11:15 am, procession transferring to Piazza dei Signori square for the celebration of the Liberation Day with authorities and veterans associations, honors to the flag, speech of the mayor and other testimonies.
