European Bicycle Adventure Meeting
Mantova, May 18 – 20, 2018
The bicycle is a philosophy, a rhythm, a glance on the world. It is the look that unites BAMs bike travelers, who, for the fourth edition, will meet in Mantova, from the 18th to the 20th of May 2018, coming from all over Italy and abroad.
Three day of riding together, stories, friendship, music and nights under the stars. Three days to meet again, to share stories, journeys and projects and to spread all together the sustainable and democratic culture of the two wheels.
After the mountains of Livigno (Sondrio) and the suggestive Rocca di Noale (Venice), BAM chooses a new location this year for its guests: Mantova, city of culture and UNESCO heritage, which is becoming more and more a capital of the two wheels and a starting point for wonderful cycling routes in the heart of Lombardy. An opportunity to get to know a new territory, its white roads, hills, lakes and its food and wine.
New location, old formula: there will be a large expo area dedicated to the most famous brands with their products dedicated to traveling, but there will also be small producers, such as bike craftsmen, associations and local bodies who work in the sector. There will be the camp area where you can sleep together under the stars. And then workshops, concerts, meetings, presentations, parties, beers, gourmet food trucks, and cycling together discovering new itineraries. All without ever taking care of time or performance: bike is a passion, not a tool to put yourself to the test. Rather, and opportunity to get to know ourselves. And to meet others like us.
There are many news in the schedule, which will be announced in the following months: what matters is to be there, with your eyes on the horizon and the desire to share a passion.
BAM! is the first event in Italy and one of the few in Europe that aims to intercept high-growth phenomena such as bike-packing, gravel bikes and adventure bikes, as well as small a big journeys.
